Convert from WAV, MP3, WMA, OGG, AIFF, AU, VOX, RAW, PCM, GSM, ADPCM, g726, g721, g723, MPC, MP+, and more to MP3 in a snap. AudioAlchemy MP3 Edition can also convert existing MP3 files to a different bitrate, frequency, and/or channel setting; for example, converting a 320 kbps MP3 to 128 kbps for use in a hardware device that requires a specific setting or does not support the higher bitrates. It provides frequency configurations ranging from 16 Hz to 48 Hz, and bitrates ranging from 8 kbps to 320 kbps. This extensive bitrate range allows for maximum control of the conversion output. When disk space is an issue, such as for portable MP3 players, select a lower bitrate to conserve space. Otherwise, when audio quality is a must, select one of the higher settings. In addition, Constant Bitrate (CBR) options are available for the best compatibility with both hardware and software MP3 players, and Variable Bitrate (VBR) is also provided for further optimized file sizes. All conversions are performed directly from the source format to the output format, which increases overall conversion speed and eliminates a possibility for potential quality loss. Additional options include error protection, the ability to automatically transfer audio tags from source files to the conversion output, and for advanced users, the ability to enable/disable use of Joint Stereo, Bit Reservoir, Short Blocks, and writing VBR headers for maximum performance and audio quality. This Agreement states the terms and conditions upon which Mystik Media offers to license the software together with all related documentation and accompanying items including, but not limited to, the executable programs, drivers, libraries and data files associated with such programs (collectively, the "Software"). LICENSE 1. GRANT OF LICENSE. The Software is licensed, not sold, to you for use only under the terms of this Agreement. This License Agreement is your proof of license to exercise the rights granted herein and must be retained by you. As between you and Mystik Media, Mystik Media retains all title to and ownership of the Software and reserves all rights not expressly granted to you.
