"Words from a Heavyweight tambourine player", When I received this tambourine I was surprised at the extremely light weight. It is a pleasure to use as I can get the rolls and sounds that I expect from a good tambourine. The head is extrememly tight and produces a very sharp drum sound. The only reason I did not rate it 5 stars is the finish. It is a little rough in places and the edge where you have to grip the tambourine is more squared than I like and it will produce blisters on my hands. For lightweight and medium use I would rate it as 5 stars. Beautiful sound and easy to play.
