"great product", comes with everything you need to make a great song. I enjoy mine for hours.

"M-Audio Keystation 61es", For the money, I think this is a fair deal; although it didn't completely meet my needs. After I bought I decided that I should have gone with the 61-note Axiom model instead. The things I needed that I don't get are 1) spilt-zoned keyboard and 2) a volume pedal jack (for swell in organ and live volume control with everything else, additional controllers (drum pads etc.). Hey, I bought it, so the lack of these features did not detract from the rating which I gave it; i.e., I didn't use the lack of these features to count against it.

I can only give this keyboard 3 stars and here is why. It's mediocre. Does what it does... no more no less. The keyboard feel is not especially great, but not too bad either. It 'gives' too much and the resistance is not at all like that of many Roland/Yamaha/Kurzweil instruments I've played, but it's not bad either.

Again, you get what you pay for and I suppose this would be a great keyboard for some other folks. I think that all-in-all, it's a fair price. 3 stars.... if you need more, pony up for the axiom 61 also sold here on amazon. I wish I had done so... I will soon.

"Great value, Amazon delivery was SLOW.", Keyboard is a really nice and a great value. Delivery was promised in 5-9 days and was backordered for 30 days. I would have ordered from another vendor had I known.

"No frills, job done", Yup, it feels a little cheap and plastic-ee. Yes sometimes the keys make an odd noise when they are pressed. Yes, Garage Band identified it immediately and I was able to throw down a quick bass and organ track to make loops I can practice to. I won't get to Carnegie on it but then I wasn't trying to. Perfect for what it is.

"Good Midi Keyboard", Nothing bad to say about this product. The key action is good and it has some nice programmable features. Works great with Session.

"Exactly what i wanted", The Keyboard was everything I hoped it would be. Easy to setup, and no wall plug mess. Works great with applications like Garage Band and Sibelius. The keys have a nice feel to them too.

"A great deal!", It really is simple. The keyboard is long enough for most compositions, it's lightweight, thin, and works immediately upon being plugged in. The keys respond to the different amounts of pressure, and if you are using Reason (like I am) you will find yourself with a powerful synthesizer in your hands.

"Rockin keyboard!!!", I've previously used the 49 key version of this keyboard as I now own the 61 key. I must say, though these are the only two MIDI keyboards I've ever used, in comparison to regular synths, these keysboards rock! Aside from all the bells and whistles, the fact that the keys are semi-weighted has to be my favorite. You'll love this product. I've never had any problems at all. Give it a try!!!

"Cheap and Toxic?", For the price this is not a bad keyboard. Here are the two major problems I have with it:

1) The feel is nothing like a real piano. The keys are springy and you have to apply a fair amount of pressure to hold a note.

2) The instructions have a big sticker on them, stating that this keyboard is made of materials known to cause cancer and/or birth defects (including lead) and to "wash your hands after handling". How on earth did this manufacturer decide to use such materials with a device that is intended to be handled a lot, very possibly by children?

"61es keyboard has plusses and minuses", After I finally heard real sound (after getting help from a consultant) I was able to play and record fairly easily via my Mac. I'm mainly interested in being able to play and get a good piano sound but the down side is - I'm not entirely pleased with how it reproduces a good piano sound. The keyboard touch isn't bad but not equivalent to a real piano.
