"It was pretty good", I bought one of these from a friend (barely used) and i would say, this thing could take a beating. Pretty good for beginners, and a price like that you just have to get it. One thing beginners should never forget, i learned this the hard way with this cymbal, "Never flip a cymbal upsidedown on a stand and hit it". Yeah, i was a 'nooby' (i guess you could say) at cymbal knowledge, but mines now cracked in two places, but it sounds almost exactly like a brand new Sabian B8 20" ride. Worked pretty well as a crash too, until it cracked of course.
