"good if no musical intentions", My son got this violin a few months before he started actual violin lessons. It really set him back because he did not understand that you cannot briskly treat a real violin in the same method as a toy. I would not recommend this unless you have no intention of giving your kid music lessons.

"My nephew is enjoying his violin!", My nephew just turned three and he loves play his violin. I am hoping he will want to play the violin as he gets older as well as other music instruments. I ordered this violin and it arrived so quick, and I didn't even select express shipping.

"Toy Violin", This is a great toy violin, we bought it for our 20 month old so he would have one to play when our 4 year old practices her suzuki violin. It has proven to be a great toy for all ages. One feature, allows the player to use the bow to the tempo of an existing song (say, Vivaldi) and thus, learning the timing and rythm. This was a great toy- I wished I had bought it 2 years ago. It has a volume control of loud and less loud, and also has an off switch (which is crucial).

"Exactly as Appears.", Good product. It is exactly what one would expect, though not as entertaining for lengths of time. My son enjoys using this violin as a violin, guitar and cello. We are happy with the purchase.

"Love it!!!", We purchased this for our four-year-old and she LOVES it! It is a great and friendly kid sized violin. It has pre-programed songs - meaning no free-play songs. This in no means detours from the fun it provides. Quick shipping from a great seller!

"Nice for young children", I got this for my 3 1/2 year old son because he loves music and he told me he wanted a violin. The music is very soothing...not obnioxious and loud like some instruments. He really likes playing it. It is just the right size for him to hold too. I would recommend this to anyone who is interested in playing the violin, just to get them used to the music and holding it.

"Great Musical Toy", This is an amazing fun way to introduce toddlers to musical instruments, even the adults play with it. Our grandson loves it and immediately asks for his "violem" when he comes for a visit. It is very sturdy and well made, bright colors and music selections are enjoyable to listen to no matter how often/long the child plays with it.

"Best I've seen", My 3 year old grandaughter wanted a violin for Christmas. This was the best "toy" violin I saw anywhere. It is a very good size for a small 3 year old. It plays classical music as well as scales and you can control the notes using the bow or just listen to the music. It is not loud and obnoxious. She has enjoyed it greatly and hopefully it will inspire her to someday want to learn to play a "real" violin and continue her music education.

"What a great toy!", My oldest child plays the violin and whenever she would practice, her little sister would be all over her, trying to take the bow, etc. So I got this toy for her and she just LOVES it! She is only 18 months old and has already figured out how to get her favorite tunes to play as well as how to play the notes herself. This violin is adorable and very easy for little fingers to work. I highly recommend it for any budding little musician!
