"Koss Sparkplug Ear Plugs", This pair of in ear headphones has been the best sounding set I have had to date. Bass response is great, Highs are fair. Overall sound repro is excellent. Noise cancellation is great from the use of memory foam that creates a snug fit in the ear. You can't go wrong by getting a set of these ear buds. The price is also great, less than $10.00 when purchased from Amazon.com


"You get what you pay for!", Well, at least they only cost 10$ For that amount, I'm not so disappointed that I can't get out of bed in the morning or anything. HOWEVER I wish I had taken the 10$ and put it towards a better quality pair of headphones.

There is ZERO bass thorugh these little buds.

"not good", the quality is bad, not at all convenient. sound sucks, foam pads are too bad...

"lightweight, good sound, & keep a lot of ambient noise out", I've used these for quite a few years now, but the one thing that always bothered me was that one plug always went dead after a few months, and I'd have to get a new set. Granted, I used them when working out among other things, so I gave them a beating, but it was still annoying. I then bought a much more expensive brand, based on reviews I read here at Amazon. And I have to say, those others REALLY annoyed me. They're too heavy and didn't fit into my ears as well. And because the wire's heavier, they're more cumbersome. Also the sound was supposed to be so superior, but I found very little in the lower frequencies. So I'm back to these. And I have to say, the ones I've gotten recently don't seem to break as quickly. Maybe I'm being more careful, or maybe they're making them better, but for the 12 bucks or so that I spend, they're definitely worth it.

"A great price until checkout", Graet headset 2nd time I purchased the "Sparkplug". Nice sound and isolation for the money. To me they sound as good or better than the $30.00 sony phones they replaced. The shipping time was really fast, US mail as I recall. I just wish these companies would all disclose S&H costs before the end of checkout. A padded envelope could have been sent for "3 postage stamps "tops". I understand they need to pay someone for the boxing and so on but I don't like to be baited by the lowest price on the web, only to find high ball S&H charges. Were not stupid were going to see the total!!!! You prices and service are as good or better as anyone elses in the subtotal category This appears to be a good company, they should refrain from those practices

Read this reviews before You buy...

"Sparkplugs make your radio run", These compact earplugs have great performance, keep out most exterior noise and transmit voice very well.
Another surprise: they don't tangle. Even after wrapping them around a mini-radio they extend to needed length quickly

"Great for the price", These plugs fit well because you squeeze them down to fit inside your ears. Once in they swell out and fit comfortably snug inside your ears. You don't need as much volume as other plugs because the ambient noise is attenuated well. The frequency response is okay. Good at the bass end, and okay for the rest of the spectrum. They're great for working in the yard or at the gym, because they don't fall out. They are well worth the $10 I spent for them.

"A pretty crude pair of earbuds", At ten dollars, you get what you pay for. The Koss Sparkplugs are heavy on the bass, tinny at the top, and possess no discernible mid-range. If you believe strong bass equals quality sound, these might just be for you. Otherwise avoid. Suitable for beats but not much else.

"Unreliable", You definitely get what you pay for with these. Bought them because I had lost my iPod standard headphones for $14 at a local store. The cushioning of the earpieces made it possible to keep them in for long stretches of hours without ear soreness. The main issue with them was that they stopped working after 2 months. The wires attached to the inline mute button came loose on both ends, requiring 5-10 minutes of fiddling with the wires and positioning, until I could get a faint stream of music, which went away the second the wires shifted and were disconnected again. Koss customer support still hasn't responded to any of my emails for three weeks now.

Buy them if you just need cheap decent headphones, but don't be disappointed when you need to buy a new pair in a few months. At least for $14, you can afford it.

"Good purchase for the money", I have been using these ear plugs for over two years now. Usually they are in the front pocket of my backpack ready to go. The price is cheap enough that I don't have to be careful porting them around. Made like an earplug but with a hollowed out center, they are good at minimizing noise around without having the more expensive noise canceling devices. Personally I like booming bass and these little plugs deliver. The one thing I would do differently is ship it with a carrying case as the long wires can become tangled.
