"Adequate Quality", This horn is suitable for a beginner trumpet....I also own and play a Bach Strat so this horn is definitely a novice/intermediate instrument. Look and feel are nice and sound is pretty timber considering the price range of this horn. If parents are looking for a beginner horn for their little ones and don't want to pay for the more expensive prices of music store instruments, this is a great buy.
