"Excellent fun, VCD, missing "Status Quo" song", All songs come with both original vocals and in instrumental karaoke versions. Some instrumental karaoke songs have backup vocals. The "Bop to the Top" instrumental version has some lead vocals interspersed through the song as well, which is a little weird, but you get used to it.

This is a Video CD (VCD), not a DVD, which means you need a DVD player that can play the VCD format to see it on your TV screen. The lyrics graphics aren't great, but they work just fine for the most part. Occasionally they get a little jumbled, but nothing that you can't sing around. The lyrics are also in the album booklet, but that is a little hard to follow with the small print and the duets.

The CD is missing one song, "Stick to the Status Quo." I would have given it 5 stars otherwise. My kids and I have a fantastic time with this CD, singing for hours on end.

"Kids love this!", What more is there to say? My kids both love this. It is fun to sing along with the stars, and if you feel ready, sing on your own. A lot of fun!

"Fun, Positive, Uplifting Music", I just purchased my third copy of High School Musical because I've been using it constantly for two years in music classes and with my Future of the World Kids Choir. Great, positive, happy music!

"A favourite", This CDG is among our favourites. Party or just singing a night away, it's a hit.

"My Students Loved It", I used this for a musical theatre class when I was unable to find an accompianist. The kids loved the fact that it was "just like the CD".

"High School Musical Karaoke CD", Both my son and daughter love this CD. It's great for karaoke, but also for taking along with a portable CD player. Highly recommended for anyone who likes the HS Musical movies and loves to sing along.

"Karaoke", This is a fun CD to sing to. My daughter likes to sing to this CD.

"Big hit with granddaughters", I bought this for my oldest granddaughter's 11th birthday. She absolutely loves it, but had to struggle for the microphone, because her 3-year-old sister and her cousins, 8 and 4, all love it also. Guess I'll invest in a second microphone, so at least the sisters will be happy! They know all the words!
