"Don't do this to your child....", It's a cute clarinet, I'll give it that. The quality of a clarinet for so cheap can only go so far. Will this instrument be suitable for high school use? No. I doubt your child is going to like this clarinet once they get past the age of 11. Some red flags that come up about this instrument: I've never heard of this brand, and I'm a professional clarinetist. Good luck finding a repairman who would be willing to take the risk of working on this clarinet because I promise you, this dealer probably doesn't make replacement parts or they will be VERY hard to come by.
There's also not enough information about the clarinet provided under the specifications...an ebonite body and nickel keys are good for a student clarinet, but what about the tone holes? Is the mouthpiece ebonite as well or hard rubber?
A good quality student clarinet will range from $500-$1000, used or new. Amazon is a good place for parts, but not for a woodwind instrument.
