"excelent game", this is the old version but it is very fun. the only little problem was the sync with the TV to ensure the hits to the drums were rigth, but after that it worked flawlessly

"A Rockin' good time!", This game ROCKS! A great party game but still great if you're rockin out solo. Versatile game, if you dont feel like pounding on the drums you can sing or play guitar/bass. the song line up is great and you're sure to have a great time banging away and annoying your neighbors with your incesscent rocking!

"Great...for a little while", Let me start off by saying that I LOVED this game. The way its setup, any of my friends and I can jam to some pretty cool songs, like Dani California and Enter Sandman. In fact, we played so much that in three weeks, my drum sensors got screwy, the whammy bar on the guitar broke, the lift-and-rock power feature on the guitar died, and my whole set got extremely run down. This was really disappointing because we would all love to think that we can play on these machines as if they were real, after all that is the point of the game. Also, the drum pads are really loud, and from a short distance their sound matches the nuisance of construction above a hotel room.
Let me reiterate-I LOVED this game, but it quickly gave out.
As a side note, those who don't have Xbox Live will find that the songs get boring-fast.
Good product, Harmonix, and now Rock Band II is shining, but I just wish they could have figured those things out with this one.

"The best game EVER!!", My family absolutely loves this game. It's a game we can play together and when we have company. We have "Rock Band" parties with friends to see who is the best!! It was also a great price, as compared to alot of stores and we received it in 5 days. Thanks Amazon!!!

"A great follow-up to the original.", By now everyone has heard of the game that swept the nation by allowing you to play as your favorite rocker or create an original one and play your favorite rock songs. Well, Rock Star is back and it improves upon its predecessor by offering a number of new features. Features like on line multi player. This is a much welcomed addition to the series. No longer are you bound to search for friends to experience this game - just find them on line. Rock Band 2 presents a fully loaded jukebox at your disposal (84 songs), plus you are able to download songs from their website. There is a tradeoff, however. You first must unlock the songs before you are able to play them.....you unlock them by playing through the solo instrument tours.

The gamplay has also been updated from its predecessor. By increasing the difficulties of the songs, your accomplishments in the game feel truly earned and the level of satisfaction you'll feel when you finally master songs from artists like Metallica, is truly something. Ah, gratification....it's such an overlooked feature in most games. Another great addition to the series are specifically oriented challenges. This feature keeps the game fresh and is an outlet when a tough songs is wiping you out. But the single greatest improvement is that you are no longer restricted to the guitar....you can play other instruments, or just go at it karaoke style.

"Awsome!!", I bought RockBand for the whole family to enjoy, and it has been a blast. We also have people over for BBQ/RockBand parties, and it is a great!

"Great Group Game", This is one of those games that friends pull out for the after-party and play long after we have gone to sleep. (I recommend headphones for three as a complementary purchase.) This has also helped me advance my own drumming skills. I ordered from this company at Christmas when few of these were available and most were unaffordable. I purchased the unit for a low, fair price and free shipping (which was quick). I will shop here next year at Christmas too.

"Love it", The kids love this and for a big family like ours - 4 can play at a time, and together. Can't beat that. It's like having your very own concert and your kids are the stars!

"Too many wires!", Although this game is fun, there are too many wires! I hate wires. I wish that the instruments were wireless. Also, the songs are pretty limited. It would be nice if there were more selections.
